Albright SU80 24V/48V — DC, CO Contactor
Single-pole, single-throw (SPST), normally open, double-breaking contacts, continuous duty — thermal current rating (Ith) 150 A (interrupted) / 200 A (uninterrupted) for DC motor applications on AGVs and industrial vehicles. Horizontal or vertical mounting via M4 tapped holes or mounting brackets.

The SU80 series is designed for direct-current loads, especially traction motors on electric vehicles. It features double-breaking main contacts with silver alloy tips for weld resistance and low contact resistance. Mounting is straightforward via M4 tapped holes or mounting brackets; contact studs are M8.

Protection diode
We always include a protection (flyback) diode for the contactor coil supply. The diode is installed in parallel across the coil (when needed) and protects your system from voltage spikes when the coil is de-energized. This reduces the risk of interference, protects PLC/outputs, and can extend the service life of your electronics.

AGVs and industrial electric vehicles: traction contactor, pump/hydraulic drive, battery switching. Suitable for resistive, capacitive and inductive DC loads within ratings.

Albright SU-contactors can be supplied with different options. You don’t need to know the codes — tell us what the contactor must do, and we’ll match the right variant and send a quote, or if you already have a contactor send us a photo of the type label.
Common options (examples):
• Auxiliary contact — extra signal output that shows if the main contact is open/closed.
• Magnetic blowouts — improves DC breaking capacity for higher inductive loads.
• Sealed housing (IP66) — dust/water protection for harsh environments.
• Coil voltage — e.g. 24 V or 48 V (other voltages available).
• Mounting & terminals — mounting holes and main studs (e.g. M8/M10) vary by model.
Note: Not every SU model supports every option, and some combinations are not available — this is normal.
