The SW180 series is designed for direct-current loads, especially traction motors on electric vehicles. It features double-breaking main contacts with silver alloy tips for weld resistance and low contact resistance. Mounting is straightforward via M5 tapped holes; contact studs are M8.

Protection diode
We always include a protection (flyback) diode for the contactor coil supply. The diode is installed in parallel across the coil (when needed) and protects your system from voltage spikes when the coil is de-energized. This reduces the risk of interference, protects PLC/outputs, and can extend the service life of your electronics.
Applications
AGVs and industrial electric vehicles: traction contactor, pump/hydraulic drive, battery switching. Suitable for resistive, capacitive and inductive DC loads within ratings.
To simplify ordering, the SW180 can be configured with optional feature letters:
• A = Auxiliary contact
• B = Magnetic blowouts (higher DC voltage interruption capability)
• P = Sealed housing (IP66)
Combine letters as needed (e.g., AP, BP, AB, ABP).
